Introduction. Chalfont St Giles is a village and civil parish in southeast Buckinghamshire, England. It is in a group of villages called The Chalfonts, which also includes Chalfont St Peter and Little Chalfont. It lies on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, 20.9 miles (33.6 km) west-northwest of Charing Cross, central London, and near Seer Green.. The parish church of Chalfont St Giles is at the heart of the village and has been the centre of worship for over 800 years. It has many fine architectural features including many fine medieval wall paintings. It can be a quiet place for contemplation or the hub of activity for regular worshippers as well as the whole village.

The Fawsett Trust. (Registered charity 201150) This is a small charitable trust of many years standing that distributes vouchers to elderly, long term residents of Chalfont St Giles in December each year. The income to enable this comes from dividend income supplemented by donations from local organisations, such as. the Village Show (2021) and.. On Friday 9 June 2023, Chalfont St Giles Village Show Committee were awarded a Proud Of Bucks Award for best Community Group Contribution in the Denham, Gerrards Cross and Chalfonts Community Board area. The award was given to the committee who run the Village Show and Street Party events, the latest event being the Coronation Street Party.
